How to create a PayPal account in the United States or Europe to make payments in US dollars (USD)

1️⃣ Create a PayPal account

1. Go to www.paypal.com

2. Click Sign Up

3. Select the country:

   • United States, or

   • A European country (such as Spain, Germany, France, etc.)

4. Choose Personal Account

5. Enter:

   • Full name

   • Email address

   • Password

6. Confirm your email address

2️⃣ Add a payment method

After logging into PayPal:

1. Go to Wallet

2. Click Link a card or bank

3. Add one of the following:

   • 💳 Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.)

   • 💳 Debit card enabled for international payments

   • 🏦 Bank account (optional, depending on the country)

👉 You do not need PayPal balance to make a payment.

3️⃣ Make a payment in US dollars (USD)

To pay on an online store or via invoice:

1. Select the product or service

2. At checkout, choose PayPal as the payment method

3. You will be redirected to PayPal

4. Log in to your PayPal account

5. Confirm the payment amount in USD

6. Complete the payment

✔ PayPal processes the payment instantly
✔ If your card is in another currency, PayPal converts it automatically
✔ You will see the final amount before confirming

Important notes

• The PayPal account must match the country where the user resides

• PayPal does not allow opening accounts in a country where you don’t live

• Currency conversion (if needed) is handled automatically by PayPal

• Payments in USD are widely accepted worldwide
